TT a 5 speed supra?

Is it possible to twin turbo a 5 speed supra and not change the tranny just throw twin turbo on it?
would you guys recommend it?
i may just keep what i have but judy wondering bc personally single turbos are just fine to me im usually in the high RPM's anyway so no real need for a small turbo in my case

Bc right now i got a single T88 6 speed manual pushing 750 and up at least 700 im running 24 PSI stock internals


Almost a dumb question but why would somebody prefer a tt over single supra if money wasnt a problem and it was a car not a RACE car as in drag.

You sir have allot to learn. Yes you can have a 5spd on TT. What engine do you have is your car a na-t?

i know i can have twin turbos its just would you guys recommend it bc right now i may buy another supra NA Targa in white 1998 with only 23,000 miles but this is why i am wondering and what did u say do i have a what supra i have a 6speed T88

and i have a 2JZ

im on the chat almost 24/7 it will be easier if we talk on their and i basically start over so u wont be answering like 30 ?'s at once and we'll go 1 ? at a time.

See all supra's have the 2jz engine. But the diffrence is the NA 2j and the tt. T^he tt is the 2jzgte and the non turbo is the 2jzge. The tt cars come in 6spd and auto and the na come with 5spd and auto thats why I asked. Sorry for the grammer I am on my phone doing this. But I was wondering if you have a NA-t setup? It is a big diffrence.

i have a 2JZGTE but its not twin turboed its got a single turbo T88

i took the TT and put on a T88 and i think i said in another post 5 speed i meant 6 i was on my iphone so im correcting and also i restart

i have a 2JZGTE JZA80 TT 6 Speed Manual i put a Single T88 bc i didnt want to have to worry about 2 turbos plus i dont really need a low end turbo and what i said in a diff post is that im looking at another white NA supra and i was going to TT that one and sell it too a family memeber bc im keeping mine and not going to putt the TT back on it for him thats why i started the post TT a 5 Speed supra

Oh ok I now have 2 cars with the gte now but only one is a Supra. I just got it will have pics on monday of that it is going to paint asap. But just a cheapo paint job.

id go with single. i got a 1jz the car doesn't spool as quick with the big single but i would never go back to the TT setup
