I love them both. My VR4 sounds pretty mean, but I would love to have an LS1 camaro to drive around as well. They are pretty mean.

Lol. You should have heard Stevens car when we pulled the downpipe off. The floored it down the street and the turbos were screaming. Sounded pure sex.

Eh, at the time it was just all crusty.

I was running a straight DN Pipe on my EG with a 57 trim and it sounded kinda like a diesel with the spool. I loved it.

I ran open down pipe on the poopra for 3 days. Homeowners Association and most of the residents on my street weren't to happy. Someone from the next street over even complained that kids were racing through the neighborhoods... Now a days, its just my closer neighbors complaining. Gotta love it.

when i put in the 383 stroker i have in the el camino we ran it with open headers while we were breaking it in and timing it and you could barely stand next to the car. It was nuts.

Import vs. muscle is never gonna end (ford vs. chevy ?) Both have pros and cons.

I know they did an experiment on the 5.7 liter 350 that chevy has been using for almost 50 years by installing NOS on an otherwise stock motor. They got up to 850hp before it was blown.

i know it's easier to get around 500hp in a v8 than a 4 cylinder and still have a daily driver. If you go nuts on a smaller engine and don't do it right, you will have to replace it in 15K miles, if it even makes it that far.

Then again, on youtube i've seen a civic with a v6 destroy a viper in the 1/4 mile.

but... nothing sounds more intimidating that a v8 with a performance cam and exhaust, both idling and full throttle, it just sounds mean.

yea, but can that v8 long tube header motor get 38 mpg and still keep it up with a boosted 4 banger?
