New LED project...

Alright guys. I have these prosport and AEM gauges and all them are red at night, so I got the idea of making all my switches gauges and lights red. Well I finally started on it and got the gauge cluster done.

Whats left is the:
Clock
TEMS lights (maybe)
A/C unit
Window switches/fog switches/etc.

anyways, a couple bad qaulity pics (thanks iPhone) of them. They are a little dim, but me and a buddy are working to resolve that before I move on to the rest.

They look good. If you can't ge em any brighter, try getting a lighter led. That's what I had to do for the colored bulbs.

I already ordered another set of 5HP-SMD-LED which are basically high power LEDs and 5 of them on a stem. But in order to prevent a hot spot from burning spots in my gauges I have to black out the top led on each with black paint, which costs 3.49 at hobby lobby, so its not a big deal at all, and they should give me the brightness Im looking for. I also ordered the 3mm and 5mm LEDS I need to do my A/C and window switches/fog/defroster switch.

I am leaving my TEMS lights green so I can just glance at them.

Im going to make the hotter and colder buttons amber for hot and blue for cold with an amber temp read out and all red buttons. So all my gauges, buttons, and switches will flow pretty well together but wont look ricer or anything, it will look like Toyota designed it red.

it does look like it came from the factory that way. I love the subtle touches that make something look uniqe but not stupid. very nice.

update guys: new brighter LEDs, gauges are complete. Next: A/C
